How much are your cakes?
With every custom cake comes a custom design, custom flavor combination and scratch made recipes. This means your price is custom to your requests. Minimum for a 6" cake is $150. If you're working with a budget, let me know and we can discuss design alterations and serving suggestions!
Can you squeeze in my order with short notice?
While a 2 week notice is required, I am happy to schedule in short notice orders as long as I have availability to. Don't hesitate to reach out!
Can you make this exact cake?
I absolutely welcome inspiration photos! However, I prefer not to completely copy another artists work. The goal is to take your favorite design elements from your inspiration photos to create a cake especially for you! Otherwise, I will try to get as close as possible to your favorite design with some adjustments (depending on the design).
Do you deliver?
Yes! Delivery will ensure that your cake arrives in perfect condition, and allows you to relax on your special day. Delivery is required for large tier cakes (3+ tiers) & weddings. Send over an email with your details and location for a delivery quote!
Is a deposit required to book?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book with the remaining 50% due 7 days before your event. If I have availability for a short notice order (under 7 days) the full balance for your order is due the same day of invoice.
I need to cancel...
Things come up & life happens, I understand! Because I plan your orders as soon as they are booked, which includes purchasing ingredients and materials, your 50% deposit is non refundable.
How early should I place my order?
I recommend booking as soon as your event details are finalized (colors, theme, servings). Each batch of cake and batch of frosting is made from scratch and made specially for your custom order, so a 2 week notice is required at minimum.

Ordering: Orders must be placed at least 2 weeks before event. Short notice orders will be accepted as long as I have availability with full balance paid at the time of inquiry. Payment: A 50% retainer fee is required to secure your date and time slot. This amount is applied to your total balance. Your order is not confirmed until retainer fee is received. The retainer fee is required within 48 hours from the time quote is given and final balance is required 1 week prior to the event. Failure to pay the retainer fee will result in your order being cancelled. All sales are final. Changes: Reasonable changes may be made to your order up to 7 days prior to your event. However, depending on the change, we can not guarantee we can make the change. Additional charges may apply. Design: We welcome inspiration photos with your order to understand the design you would like, and although we will not replicate another cake artists’ work, we will still use the photos as inspiration to create the design as closely as possible. Pick up: When you or your representative picks up your order, it is considered accepted and you assume all liability and are responsible for the condition of your order once it leaves the premises. Ashley's Cakeshop will not be held liable for any damages once the order leaves our possession. You will receive care instructions with your order. Refunds: All sales are final. If Ashley's Cakeshop fails to complete your order in the event of an emergency or sickness, a full refund will be issued to you. If you are dissatisfied with your product, please return the product to us within 24 hours in order for us to assess the nature of the complaint. Because everyone has different preferences, no refunds will be given based on the taste of your product. If you are dissatisfied with your design, it must be mentioned at time of pick up. Otherwise, it is considered accepted once it leaves the premises. All refunds will be carefully considered by Ashley's Cakeshop. Ashley's Cakeshop is not an allergen free kitchen. Ashley's Cakeshop reserves the right to photograph and record videos of all orders for display and promotional purposes without compensation to you.
